KarenOr getting an email letting us know that a student's work has been moderated and why.

Heidi Livingston EisipsI agree with this; sometimes a post is moderated in error, and a student finds this stressful. Would be great for professor to be alerted to this situation automatically by Packback.

Stephen PateAs an instructor, I would at least like to get a "notification" (on the "bell" icon) that a student's post has been moderated. I can usually very quickly decide the right remedy and suggest it to the student. (I am still smarter than the AI. :)

Kristie CampanaYes, being informed about moderation and the reason behind it is very helpful. Sometimes removing a post that is low quality seems like a rather major consequence. Similarly, if something is offensive, it's helpful to know as an instructor if something problematic is happening so that you can possibly provide full class feedback or commentary on something.

Lisa ParrottI agree with this also! I had a student post a question by the due date on Sunday. Monday morning I added the grades from Packback, and a few days later while adding detailed feedback on posts I found out theirs had been moderated, thus giving them a different grade. I was not notified it was moderated and only found their post (to provide assistance) due to the response from another student. This prevents instructors from providing the much needed learning opportunity in these instances.
