Display user posts without leaving main page

When I look students up by name, I would really like their posts to display just to the right of their name on the same page rather than jumping to another page. There is a lot of navigating back and forth between pages. What would be extremely helpful is to have the ability to sort all students in a course by name (last or first) then select them individually and have their posts just pop up to the side (similar to how outlook works). I could then move to the next students without navigating around multiple pages. It would just be a smoother experience.
